A friend of mine said that replacement parts (Tune up stuff) for older Honda motorcycles was not available any more. That sounds wrong to me. I want to find out before i buy one! FYI probably an 1985 or newer model 250 cc

and how long can a motorcycle last?

I’ve seen bikes with as little as 2000mi on them absolutely thrashed and bikes with 100,000 mi in perfect running order.My old BMW had 368,000 mi on it when I sold it a year later I saw her and couldn’t believe how bad she was .It made me really sad to know I sold her to such an A hole that thrashed her so badly.

Why is the front tire on sports bike type motorcycles so small?

What type of characteristics would you have if the front wheel of a one of these motorcycles was larger? Taller and wider?

motorcycles wheels and tires operate like gyros. The whole idea is to have the lightest gyro (wheel tire Assembly) so you have less unsprung weight to get rolling. the height of the tire directly affects how fast the "turn in" of the corner is. An oblects farthest point falls flat faster the smaller it is from vertical. The taller the tire the more it wants to basiccaly stay upright.
