fiar enough, but which company of those still standing today, which company of them has the most loyal loving customer base in the world, which company has its designs copied by all the other company’s in the world.
Harley is the answer.
people who hates Harley have two reason: either they can’t afford one, or they had a bad experience with a Harley rider, as for me I respect all the other bikes Euros or Japs, but Harley is the best, and don’t forget riding is about the freedom, not the bike.

The 1898 First USA production motorcycle – Orient-Aster
The first USA production motorcycle was the Orient-Aster, built by the Metz Company in Waltham, Massachusetts.

It used an Aster engine which was a French-built copy of the DeDion-Buton. It predated the Indian (1901) by three years, and Harley-Davidson (1902) by four.

we’re talking about a real two wheel bike, as for Daimler some people consider it a car, others consider it a tri bike but not a true motorcycle. the first Harley was built as a bike in mind.
