if you look at mirrors of muscle- they have bars too short too, but you cant change them easily because there are blinkers in mirrors.
Look at this video – the beginning- 50% of the mirror is riders arm, but camera is not central- its fixed on the side of helmet. If the camera would be central, the situation would be worse (more than 50% of the mirror would be covered) And its not possible to move the body to the side or to flex elbow to see something, because bike is long and you are extended

I rent this bike …
I rent this bike from friday to monday (made 1300 with that on all kind of roads)
I must say : its VERY enjoyable in curves, motor runs very nice, back seat is extremly uncomfortable (bone-breaker after 4hrs of ride), suspension is good only for very good quality roads. Position of the driver is not bad. I could keep speed 160 kmh 1 hour long. Tyres are ok also in rain. But my Triumph sprint is much more comfortable for long trips.
