Sure sounds good. I … Sure sounds good. I had an R27 in 1963 and an R60 in the mid-60′s while I was in college. I still have my old 1969 R69US. I had the Bing carbs rebuilt a year ago and it made it run like new again. It started on the second kit this spring. There is a really nice article about the ’67-69 models in the current (May/June 2007) MOTORCYCLES CLASSICS magazine. It says they’re now worth $6-12000. Pretty amazing, considering the top-of-the-line R69S was only about $1800 new.
