I know you have …
I know you have seen my video which I have now re-uploaded but all of the fuel injected models have the injectors hidden in carb look castings so they look like they are carb bikes but infact aren’t. It would fool anyone anyday.

Thanks – I heard …
Thanks – I heard all of Triumph’s range here in the U.K are going to be injected from now on so I might go second-hand for a Black Bonnie for the carbs…although I’m tempted by the SE being £6,000 here…

Well, I think the comfort thing is a matter of personal preference. I’m very comfortable on the Bonneville. I haven’t been on any long trips, so unfortunately, I can’t really say one way or another about that.

Yeah, I was talking with the dealer in Indianapolis and he is the one that told me about them becoming fuel injected next year. I haven’t read anything official about it, so I wouldn’t take it as the gospel.

I have been looking for a bike to buy next summer. I’m really torn between old school cruiser and new school street. (street trip, bonneville, Ducati 696) I love the looks of the bonneville black though. Is it true they are comfortable for longer rides, like weekend trips? Also, where did you hear they are goign to be fuel injection in 2009? I would like to find out more. thanks!

I looked at all the …
I looked at all the other Triumphs and nothing spoke to me like the Bonneville Black!

I am on it constantly and it is VERY comfortable to me. It fits like a glove. Everyone has their own tastes. I would highly recommend locating your nearest Triumph dealer. You can sit on it and get a good look at one in person. There really is no substitute. I just fell in love with the Bonneville the 1st time I saw one in person!

Thanks that was important for me as i am still in the proces of looking around.
I like the triumph scrambler aswell as it is a little bit higher.

But the black bonnie is just mean looking.
I like it

So you think even on medium distance travel it is comfortable for you?

The only place I know right off hand is the official Triumph website. I would go there and click on “accessories”. They have some great pictures of most all of them.

You are going to love it!

Yeah, there are tons of accessories available. I will probably get a back rest sometime soon and I thought about knee pads, but I love the way it looks the way it is. I can’t decide.

I also thought about getting new pipes. I like the Dunstall Replicas…at lease from what I have heard on YouTube. I have read somewhere that they are TOO loud though??? I don’t know.

Well, have fun & be safe!!!

I’m buying my black tomorrow – beautiful bike-just amazes me how one can dress these bikes out. The only immediate change once in possession is to change the pipes out. The dealership I’m buying from claims the change could increase the hp by 10%.
