My first bike, …
My first bike, Honda shadow 750, I had no motorcycle experience what so ever, I did drop it a few times in the beginning, nothing major. I love this bike, though I sometimes feel that I might be pushing the engine when Im traveling at 80mph, what do you think?

Not a single …
Not a single problem on the interstate. I took a 280 mile round trip to Chattanooga, TN and back on the interstate a few weeks ago, didn’t get a sputter out of it and was maintaining 80+ pretty much the whole way. I decided to see what it could do and went WOT for about 30 seconds on a clear strip of the interstate, got up to 105 before I decided to slow back down due to pant-crappage. It was still accelerating though, I’m sure it could have pushed at least 110mph.

I have a Rebel and …
I have a Rebel and was about to buy an Sabre 1100 but decided to buy an Aero 750. The salesman kept telling me that the 1100 was better for highway rides, which is true but he was also trying for more commission.

Have you had any problems with interstate riding? How does your bike handle it? Will you being doing any mods?

Definitely …
Definitely recommend it friend, absolutely no problems with it, mine is completely broken in now and I’ve done all the maintenance myself. I recommend you get yourself a shop manual and some tools, and do your own work. Dealers will —rip you off—.

Hey Chris. WOW, …
Hey Chris. WOW, what a coincidence! I too have a similar story as yours. I started with a 2002 Rebel 250 with 4200 miles on it, and after putting 5200 more miles on it, I decided to step up. You guessed it..a 2008 Shadow Aero, the same color(s) even. I have 180 miles on it so far. LOVE IT! Winter is going to spoil my early Christmas present though. I live in Northern Utah. Thanks, be safe, and have the fun for me until Spring.
