Fishtail is the term. As for putting the front brake? Absolutely not. It’d lesson the weight on the rear wheel and you’d go do down even faster. Ideally would be to give it throttle to pull the center of gravity towards the rear wheel – but ideal vs panic reactions are usually different. Though, that’s what the guys in this video seem to be doing, but then again, they’re kinda the best at this.

i dont know what the term is but if your back wheel starts to wobble like that should you apply more front brake to lift it of the ground?

He didnt die he broke a few ribs etc but he survived. i doubt official motogp page would show one of the riders accidents if he died, lol

Taro Sekiguchi …
Taro Sekiguchi didn’t die in that in that crash. He broke his pelvis and sustained other injuries but actually raced the final 3 rounds of the 2007 125 championship. Definately a nasty looking crash though.
