Interesting. As a Street Bob owner, I’m not a big on the fat tires, which IMO that and the drag bars make it this bike come off as a mix between the Rocker and Fat boy. It sounded great until the end when you could tell it was not a V twin. A bit more than I’d pay in a recession. Who Am I kidding, I’d never buy it, Harley’s my bike. Not a bad transition bike though.

No, it’s a 1600, …
No, it’s a 1600, and Triumph use something called “technology” and employ people called “engineers” which means they will have designed it so it doesn’t vibrate. The current 865 twins are as smooth as silk at any revs.

I dont want to be a nay sayer, but the bike seems a far cry from the original Light, Agile fast Marlon Brando Bike. It looks like they are trying to compete with Harley. If we’d remember they kicked Harley’s in the 50′s, by being themself not copying Harley.That is why we have the Sportster, Harley’s response to Britain. I would like to see a Triumph do something like the new Harley XR 1200. Half cruiser, half sport bike. This bike looks like its trying to compete with the Softail,
