what kind of oil do i use on a 1969 triumph motorcycle?

I would use Mobile 1 V twin 20w-50 it has all the protection you need, and a lot better than any oil you could get back in '69, back then I would have said, 50wt valvoline racing, but oil has gotten much better, I used to use straight 50wt racing in my Harley's now I use the 20w-50 Mobile 1

I had a bsa back then. the only thing that was different from a triumph was that the trans did not need a separate grade. The trump I believe needs gear oil and regular oil. Single grade is ok from what I heard over the yrs. Just keep it clean.
